Congratulations to Jacobe "Esca" Silthrin on being appoined Ship Captain of the VSD-II Inferno. Both myself and Admiral Jade liked his ideas for the ship, and have no idea that he'll lead the Inferno to greatness. Congratulations, Jacobe!

Imperial Directorate, Imperial University

Due to an issue that arose today through the Imperial University I want to make it clear that Reservists are NOT active members, and thus they are prohibited from participating in any activity that normal active duty members are eligible to participate in. A new section titled "Reserves" has been added to Chapter Four of the Operations Manual. I highly advise all members to review this new addition so everyone is on the same page.

Imperial Directorate, 501st Legion, Imperial University

Today the Imperial University released the Basic Survival course. It has been placed at the Veers Campus of the Legion, but it is of course open to anyone to take. You never you know when the need to know these basic techniques may be necessary. Thanks goes out to Lieutenant Commander Ethlan Wroji of the Assault Frigate Torch for creating this great course and contributing it to the Imperial University!

Captain Wan Salk, SCPT of the VSD-II Inferno has resigned his post. This means that we are now accepting applications for the position! I don't need anything formal, just list your ideas on how you'd lead the ship and why we should pick you.

Requirements:

• 24 hour email turnaround time
  
• Minimal IRC presence
  
• Other Instant Messaging programs (reccomended, not required)
  
• Ability to communicate effectively and handle simple questions and problems.
  
• Ability to submit a weekly report outlining ship activity, awards and other news.
  
• Work with crew members on an individual and group basis to complete goals, projects and other activities.
  
• Create competitions and activities to promote activity and communication.
  

That being said, send all applications to fc@imperialdirectorate.org and ceradanjade@aim.com. There's no deadline, but we will appoint someone when we find a suitable applicant.

Greeting Imperial Officer & Citizens,

As you know the Imperial War Games is still going on. I want to emphasis the fact that all of these competition are fairly easy to do. I know, because of the AWOL Check that ended today (so please no more submission for that), that a fair amount of you are active. So why arent you doing these activity's. It will gain you credit towards your next promotion, and the winners get medals, and special titles. Anyways heres whats going on:

- AWOL Check Ended a 12:00 AM EST, no more submission.
- Banner - Ends 04/May/2008
- Multiplayer Gaming - Ends 18/May/08
- University Course Completion - Ends 12/May/2008
- Fiction - Ends 18/May/08

Only one person has told be what exams they have passed since the start of the IU Course Activity, when I know that more have been taking (you have to email me the results to get credit). Also no one submitted a banner which ends on the 4th. The Trivia event wll start on the 6th, so I suggest you do what you can so you dont feel overwhelmed by the activities. If anyone need to be re-informed on the details of an Activity, or if you have any question or concerns, please email me.

Our Director of Operations has just approved a new competition for the Navy! Details are below:

Basically, every Saturday around 1:00 PM EST (subject to change), I will run a Live Trivia session on mIRC, in the channel #ID_Trivia. There will be 15 total questions, this first week consisting of General Knowledge topics, but themes may come along soon. The first place winner each week will receive a Medal of Strategy-Platinum Ribbon.

So, be sure to be on mIRC Saturday! ;-)

I have just posted a major update to the RO, and this should help get things rolling. I have also appointed certain key commanders to head specific elements of the forthcoming mission, as well as what their objectives are. I think from this point everyone can pull the RO together and have fun.
