The Executor has released a new "State of the Directorate" report! It has a LOT of new information that you may find interesting and useful.

I believe HA Jade said it best when he stated some time ago that it was just inevitable that Jeremy Selden would have another one of his explosive issues and we would be forced once again to show him the way to the nearest airlock. Well today is that day, and there will NOT be a second chance for him in the Imperial Directorate. Effective immediately Jeremy Selden is expelled from the ID, and is hereby banned from all ID forums, IRC channels, etc.

High Command

As part of the ongoing changes to the ID to make it as much "canon" as possible, we have decided to change the official rank for the Executor to "Grand Vizier", which is an actual canon rank, and one designated for someone that holds a position like or equal to an Executor. Personally speaking, I've always hated the rank of "Lord", so this is a change I can live with. Another alteration is that anyone who holds the position of Executor will not be allowed to keep the rank associated with it when they retire or stepdown. Now those that retire or stepdown as Executor will hold the max rank of Grand Admiral or Grand General in an advisor position, or an appropriate rank as listed in the manuals if they chose to serve in a lower command or member position within the club.

Imperial Navy, Stormtrooper Corps, High Command

All rosters and profiles are now online, each having been cleaned of any outdated or no longer active members. Reserve rosters especially have been cleared out of dead weight.

One thing I need everyone to take note of is that your PIN (Personal Identification Number) has changed. Please take note of your PIN on your profile page as this is what your PIN will be for the remainder of your time in the ID. These new PINs correspond to your PIN on the database that is under development at this time.

Imperial Directorate

As you've probably noticed the Imperial Directorate has a new website! About 90% of the site is now online, the rest will be online shortly after some new coding is introduced that will greatly aid in functionality.

You'll notice that the new layout involves nav sections for each branch, so now information is easier to locate. A few other minor changes are that the former "Fleet Manual" is now the "Technical Manual" since it incorporates more than just naval information, but also information on ground combat equipment.

We hope everyone enjoys the new site, and over time new options will be coming online to help improve your enjoyment of the Imperial Directorate!

Imperial Department of Strategic Development & Military Research

The IDSDMR Site has been revamped. It now has a new layout as well as a newly created "Resources" page. This page should be used by members pretty often as it will provide them with new tools as they are developed by the IDSDMR. Currently the resources page has two tools listed: the Banner Request Form & the ID Formal Application Template.

If you would like to request a signature banner for the Mb, or you’re a commander requesting a unit banner then please make use of the banner request form. If you’re a member that is looking to apply for an open position and want a clean, professional style application then download the template for your use. Enjoy the new site and use it wisely

In recognition of their efforts to help create a new Imperial fleet, as well as restructure the Imperial Navy, which ultimately led to the reopening of the previously closed Starfighter Corps in a new format, I hereby recognize and award High Admiral Talon Jade and High General Jeremy Selden for their hard work and efforts with the awarding of the Cross of Glory!

Today I proudly recognize the accomplishments, loyalty, and contributions that High Admiral Talon Jade, Field Marshal Zeke Freeman, and High General Jeremy Selden have made to the Imperial Directorate by honoring them on behalf of the ID with the most exclusive award the club offers, the Fist of Palpatine!

These three gentlemen have served the ID with great honor, and their recent endeavors to further improve the Imperial Directorate in various areas have proven to be a great asset to the club as a whole. Join me in congratulating these three exemplary officers for their efforts and contributions to this honorable club!

General Zeke Freeman, front and center! Today we honor the loyal efforts and accomplishments of a great member and personal friend to many of us. In recognition of his achievements, I am honored this day to promote General Freeman to the rank of Field Marshal!

Imperial Directorate

Effective immediately Talis Skywalker is banned from the Imperial Directorate and is to have no further contact with any member of the club. After repeated attempts by senior command staff and other members to try and get Skywalker to follow club policies the decision was reached to cut all ties to this individual and remove him from the club and its operations.
