CHAPTER ONE - INTRODUCTION TO THE IMPERIAL NAVY The Imperial Navy is dedicated to defending the Imperial Directorate. These brave men and women dedicate their lives to insuring the safety of all citizens of the Imperial Directorate. The mission of the Imperial Navy is to serve and defend the Imperial Directorate from all enemies, foreign or domestic in space. The Imperial Navy fulfills this mission through the use of fleet battlegroups comprising a variety of different capital ships, cruisers, and other support vessels. Through the use of the 181st Fighter Wing, the most elite pilots in the Outer Rim territories provide additional security and defense to ensure the survival of the Imperial way of life. Below you will find listed the breakdown for each segment of the Imperial Navy. The Fleet - The backbone of the Imperial Directorate. Members who join the fleet command the Navy’s capital ships and compete in mostly role playing activities. While not limited to; most fleet officers will participate in such activities as run-ons, fiction and other non gaming related activities. Starfighter Corps - The Starfighter Corps is comprised of the mighty 181st Fighter Wing and is made up of some of the best pilots in the Empire. Corps members compete in mostly multi player platforms such as XWA, XvT and EaW but are not limited to these.
