Introduction
Welcome to the Directorate Battle Simulator! The Directorate Battle Simulator is a dangerous an intriguing place comprising battle tactics, strategic puzzles and everything in between.
From the outside, the Directorate Battle Simulator is an impressive 250-foot tall pentagonal structure built of crystalline panels. As you walk up to it, you find that any light that hits it is refracted into a myriad of colors. Your jaw drops open in amazement that a structure so beautiful could be the training area for the Imperial Directorate’s elite. As you walk inside, another sight astounds you.
The inside is as breathtaking as the outside. It is more spacious than you dreamed possible. As you walk to the front desk, you are asked to fill out two forms. One of those forms is a waiver stating that the Directorate Battle Simulator is not responsible for any injuries. This form is handed back to the receptionist. The second form, a Character Sheet, will be submitted to the database where the Combat Coordinator, head of the Directorate Battle Simulator, will look it over and either approve it, in which case you’re set to begin training, or deny it and add comments as to what you need to change or define.
As you walk into the Directorate Battle Simulator you notice Simulators everywhere. The three main one you notice right away are the Qualification Battles, Tournament Battles, and General Battles. Each simulator will train then test you in all general skills from fleet tactics, to strategic ground attacks.
Thought it was going to be easy, did you? I’ll warn you this time. The rest of the halls are the advance branch oriented simulators. They’re just as well set up, and the missions are way harder. You must have a lot of skill, determination, and guts if you’re going to make it in the Directorate Battle Simulator. Even hand-to-hand combat isn’t going to be a walk in the park. With this in mind, let’s take a look at the rules of engagement, shall we?
