CHAPTER TWO - MILITARY COUNCIL POSITIONS
The duties and positions of the Military Council are outlined below:
Executor (EXE, MC-1): The Executor is the chief authority and owner of the Imperial Directorate. He is afforded the responsibility to oversee the overall operations of the Imperial Directorate. The Executor must approve any and all major changes in Imperial Directorate and is given the final say over all matter within the club. The Executor has total control over the Military Council, and final approval on all appointments to the Military Council.
501st Legion Field Commander (LC, MC-2): The Legion Field Commander is in charge of the 501st Legion, and is the main liaison between the 501st and the Military Council. He has the authority to order all Legion units on missions and campaigns. The Legion Commander is the second-in-command of the Imperial Directorate and oversees the day-to-day military operations of the Imperial Directorate.
Headmaster of the Imperial University (HM, MC-3): The Headmaster of the Imperial University is in charge of the Imperial Directorate's academy and training facilities and courses. The Headmaster is expected to ensure that University students receive the help they need to eventually become officers, pilots, stormtroopers or representatives of the Imperial Directorate. The Headmaster also maintains and works to expand the available courses and other training requirements that help make the Imperial Directorate better and more advanced.
Director of Imperal Operations (DoO, MC-4): The Director of Imperial Operations is charged with the upkeep of the rosters and approval of medals and promotions. He is also charged with the placement of cadets from the Imperial University. The Director of Operations assures the proper procedures for all awarding processes are clearly presented and defined. The Director is also obligated to create competitions for the Imperial Directorate, as well as develop competitions with the assistance of the Imperial Navy Fleet Commander and the 501st Legion Field Commander. The Director of Operations approves or denies all submitted competition within the Imperial Directorate.
Director of Development (DoD, MC-5): The Director of Development, head of the Imperial Department of Strategic Development & Military Research (IDSDMR), is charge with the creation of all graphics within the Directorate. His work includes banners, rank/position badges, uniforms/armor, and any other images. He is the prime image consultant for the Directorate, all images must get approval from the Director of Development before being used. The Director of Development is also charged with the design, development, implementation, and running of large-scale competitions and campaigns. The DoD will also be charged with fictional aspects of the Imperial Directorate, including but not limited to Run-Ons, History, the ID Wiki, and adding to the Directorate's continuing story line. Last the Director of Development serves as the Combat Master for the Orzon Battle Center, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the facilities role-playing/multiplayer gaming sections.
Imperial Navy Fleet Commander (FC, MC-6): The Navy Fleet Commander is the chief of the entire Imperial Navy, and is the main liaison between the Navy and the Military Council. He has the authority to order both the Fleet and Starfighter Corps on missions and campaigns, in unison with the Directors of Operations and Intelligence.
Director of Imperial Commerce (DoC, MC-7): The Director of Commerce is in charge of all the commerce, trade and other material and financial aspects of the Imperial Directorate. This includes the day-to-day operations of the Imperial Directorate Exchange, affiliated companies and entities, and the overall trade alliances created for the benefit of the Imperial Directorate. The DoC also assists the Directors of Operations and Development with the development of all fictional information and financial services necessary to help keep the Imperial Directorate in the black column of the Imperial Ledger.
Special Assistants (A:XX, MA-#): The Military Council may appoint temporary special assistants to help them with special projects and tasks at the approval of the Executor and Legion Commander. The Executor and Legion Commander may also create temporary or semi-permanent special positions to assist in overseeing certain areas of the Imperial Directorate, in which the positions report directly to them but receive no additional power. These positions will almost always be part-time in nature.
The exception to this is the Dean of Education, the Headmaster's primary assistant. The Headmaster may appoint a Dean to assist in the administration of the Imperial University. The Dean of Education receives a certain amount of authority based on the behest of the Headmaster and may serve in either full-time or part-time status depending on the circumstances.
