FRAG GRENADE



Frag Grenade - 420 ICs
Fragmentation grenades were cheap and low-damage grenades, which were used mainly by mercenaries, adventurers and bounty hunters. The standard versions of this grenade utilize metal shrapnel when it explodes. Additionally, these were designed to explode on contact. The typical blast radius was about 4 meters. These items were highly restricted despite their common use. Because of their small size and weight, about 0.5 kilograms, detection of these weapons could be difficult.

While these grenades were not as destructive as the major part of miscellaneous grenades, its cheapness made it available in large numbers for armies. Some soldier battalions had frag grenades as standard armament. Stormtrooper legions with higher prestige or special commando units often had a belt of such grenades.
