The Imperial Directorate Exchange and Commerce Center

Private Entities Policies and Procedures

The Imperial Directorate Exchange welcomes the formation of business deals and partnerships with various firms and corporations throughout the galaxy to further the options available throughout stores of items at the Exchange. Each private entity is owned and operated independently of the Imperial Directorate Exchange. The Exchange does reserve the right to approve or deny business deals with entities or decline to purchase items created and sold by said entities.

Any member of the Imperial Directorate may create a private entity in attempts to create a business deal with the ID Exchange. Multiple members may also create a private entity. When creating a private entity, members are required to provide a firm name, a brief synopsis on their firm, and what their firm specializes in (if any). Some entities may be more elaborate and incorporate multiple divisions; however, the detail of the entity is complete up to the creativity of the founding member.

Private entities create and attempt to sell new and unique items to the ID Exchange. When submitting a new creation, the private entities director should submit in a .txt or .doc format the following: Name of item, Type of item (based on ID Exchange groups and subgroups), Description of item, Suggested Price (base it off of similar item), Statistics (for comparison to other items). Although not mandatory, a graphic of the item is highly recommended. The ID Exchange Staff will review the item and determine, based on suggested price, detail of description, and effort placed into creation whether or not a contract will be struck for the ID Exchange to carry the item. If approved, the ID Exchange will grant the entity a certain credit value. The director of the entity may request that credit amount be divided in any way amongst his or her firm’s staff.

A private entity may be comprised of more than just the director; however the director is the primary spokesman for the entity. A private entity may structure itself in its own way, outside the jurisdiction of the ID Exchange, including positions, pay and division of labor. However, the ID Exchange Staff is responsible for updating credit records and therefore, the Director of Commerce must keep all ID Exchange Staff informed on the entity’s structure and how credit amounts should be divided.

All new private entities and new creations should be sent to the Director of Imperial Commerce, and the Paymaster of the Exchange. At the present that would be Major General Selden, and Lt. Commander Takeda.
