IMPERIAL HEAVY REPEATER



Imperial Heavy Repeater - 1,200 ICs
The Imperial Heavy Repeater was a projectile weapon used by Imperial troops. It was an improvement over the earlier Imperial Repeater, which was developed by Moff Rebus. The heavy repeater had an extremely rapid-fire rate and a moderate spread pattern. It differed from previous repeater models in two critical areas. First, it used metallic bolts similar to those used by the more primitive slugthrowers. Second, it carried an attached concussion grenade launcher, which allowed the gun to fire a concussive explosive.

The heavy repeater was valued by the Imperials for its rate of fire and effective suppression fire capabilities, and was often used for crowd control or to provide covering fire over a large area. Though intended for use by Imperial forces, several different groups eventually used this weapon. It was particularly popular with Trandoshan mercenaries, and it was found in the armory of the Jedi Praxeum.
