The MC-17(Carbine) is misleading in it's nature, it is not a typical rifle, but rather it is related to the wookie bow caster in it's projectiles are both energy and matter based. This makes it great for piercing armor both on lightly armored vehicles and the type worn by soldiers on the battlefield. It's anti-recoil system makes it a smoother firing system than most blasters however which keeps accuracy on par with normal blasters. The added punch then makes the MC-17 family well worth the price. It's highest draw back is the special cartridges it takes.
