This was a model of SoroSuub blaster rifle. It was unmarked, lacking any form of corporate or governmental markings, which allowed the weapon to be untraceable if lost. It was also a very effective weapon when used in stun mode, which was something of a rarity among blaster rifles. While the Firelance was marketed as "the most effective weapon available for freelance enforcement officials", it was specifically built for use by bounty hunters.
