CHAPTER TEN - PLATFORMS OF THE 501st LEGION

The Imperial Directorate routinely updates and revises its supported games and activities in an effort to try and keep up with what is currently available for RPG, MP or other activity uses. Members are encouraged at all times to submit new ideas or suggestions to the Director of Imperial Operations for games or activities that the Imperial Directorate may support. Below is a list with descriptions of each game or activity currently supported by the Imperial Directorate.

Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds® (SWGB) - The destiny of a galaxy hangs in the balance and you're in command. Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds lets you lead the armies of Star Wars to victory in intense, real-time strategy clashes. Enter the fray as the Galactic Empire, Rebel Alliance, Trade Federation, Wookiees and other civilizations in campaigns that will determine the final outcome of the Galactic Civil War. Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds: Clone Campaigns® (SWGB:CC) - The battlefield just got bigger... Choose to play as the breakaway secessionist Confederacy or Galactic Republic, as it begins to build up its own military capabilities in 14 single player missions based around characters, vehicles and locations from Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones®.

Star Wars: Force Commander® - Prepare for ground assault! Think you have what it takes to command a battalion of AT-ATs? Or to defend the Rebel stronghold at Hoth? Prove it in Star Wars: Force Commander, an intense real-time ground combat experience like no other. As you weave through the epic storyline, lead both the Empire's monolithic military might and the ragtag-yet-resourceful Rebels. Keep your war machines humming in single- and multiplayer modes. The ultra realistic 3D terrain and vehicles give you the power to guide your troops to victory. This is war. This is Force Commander! Participation includes: Custom missions created by ID members, level reviews, and fictional stories/RPG.

Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight® - In Dark Forces®, Kyle Katarn, a young mercenary successfully infiltrated the Empire. Jedi Knight continues the story of Katarn as he embarks on a quest into his past and learns the mysterious ways of the Jedi. With this knowledge, he must stop seven Dark Jedi from unlocking the powers of a hidden Jedi burial ground. This task forces Katarn to decide his destiny. If he chooses the Dark side, he will come into enormous power. If he chooses the Light side, he faces seemingly insurmountable evil. Whatever path Katarn chooses will change the face of the galaxy forever. Participation includes: Custom missions created by ID members, level review, fictional stories/RPG, multiplayer activity.

Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast® - In the tradition of the multi-award-winning Jedi Knight, rebel agent Kyle Katarn returns in exhilarating first-person action. Several years have passed since Kyle avenged his father's death and saved the Valley of the Jedi from Jerec and his band of Dark Jedi. Allowing his Force powers to languish for fear of falling to the dark side, Kyle entrusted his lightsaber to Luke Skywalker, vowing never to use it again. But when a new and menacing threat to the galaxy emerges, Kyle knows he must reclaim his past in order to save his future. Jedi Outcast is being developed in partnership with Activision's critically acclaimed developer Raven Software. Players assume the role of Kyle as they employ a unique mix of weapons, Force powers and your lightsaber in both single- and multiplayer modes. Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy® - Star Wars® Jedi Knight®: Jedi Academy(tm) allows players to immerse themselves in the classic Star Wars universe as they take on the role of a student eager to learn the ways of the Force from Master Luke Skywalker. Participation includes: Custom missions created by ID members, level review, fictional stories/RPG, multiplayer activity (The IL GraveBall Team/Swoop Racing League).

Star Wars: Battlefront® - Star Wars Battlefront® is an action/shooter game that gives fans and gamers the opportunity to re-live and participate in all of the classic Star Wars battles like never before. Players can select one of a number of different soldier types, jump into any vehicle, man any turret on the battlefront and conquer the galaxy planet-by-planet online with their friends or offline in a variety of single player modes. Single player modes include "Instant Action," "Galactic Conquest" and the story-based "Historical Campaigns" mode that lets gamers experience all of the epic Star Wars battles from Episodes I-VI, fighting from the perspective of each of the four factions within the game. Participation includes: Custom missions created by ID members, level review, fictional stories/RPG, multiplayer activity.

Star Wars: Battlefront II® - Star Wars Battlefront II® improves upon the blockbuster multiplayer original with new space combat, playable Jedi, and never-before-seen environments straight out of final Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith film. The game features an all-new single-player experience that takes players through an epic, story-based saga where every action the player takes impacts the battlefront and, ultimately, the fate of the Star Wars galaxy. The sequel features improved flight control, complex space combat that allows players to board enemy capital ships and battle to take over flying command posts or sabotage the ship to be used against the other faction, increased total online player numbers, and memorable multiplayer encounters in 12 new locations.

Empire at War® (EaW) - Command the battle for the Star Wars galaxy in this real-time strategy game set in-between the two film trilogies. You'll be able to join either the Alliance or the Empire and fight both in space and on the surface of planets with the most memorable heroes from the story at your side, and all in 3D. Participation includes: Single and Multi-player space combat, using the in-game engine and custom-made mission/campaigns created by members of the 501st Legion.

Legion Campaigns - These competitions consist of a blend of every skill needed in the Imperial Legion. Fiction, Image design, and battles, will be part of these extensive ordeals, and rewards may be anything from medals, to stat upgrades, to rank promotions.
