CHAPTER TWO - IMPERIAL LEGION POSITIONS

--- Battalion Commander
--- Company Commander
--- Platoon Commander
--- Squad Commander
--- Trooper

Battalion Commander (BC): The Battalion Commander is charged with overseeing the development and training of the Companies assigned under them. Battalion Commanders ensure that the specialized troopers of the 501st Legion are prepared to defend the many planets and colonies of the Imperial Directorate. They are also responsible for encouraging activity whenever possible and administrating as necessary.

Company Commander (CC): A Company Commander oversees 3-4 Platoons, ensuring that proper training and development is given to the troops. A Company Commander works closely with the Battalion Commander and Platoon Commanders to ensure that the troops are always active and prepared for combat.

Platoon Commander (PC): This position oversees 5-6 squads and is the first command rank that requires a commission. A Platoon Commander is a key position as it is the chief activity creator and overseer of all the troops under their command.

Squad Leader (SL): Squad Leaders are in charge of a unit of five specialized troopers. This is the lowest command position in the 501st Legion, and is the essential backbone for training and activity in order to keep the troops ready for battle at all times.

A Trooper is the standard position given to the general membership of the 501st Legion after successfully completing their basic training through the Imperial University. However the troopers of the 501st Legion are among the elite of all Stormtroopers, and as such are more highly trained and ready for combat than their standard Imperial and Naval Stormtrooper counterparts that operate within the standard line and fleet units.
